Horse Shows

High View Farm schedules a variety of events to participate in off-property.  We try to provide these opportunities all year round for our students and their families, but the vast majority of them are from May-September.  While we love to showcase or riders at horse shows at all levels, we also love to play!  Our schedule throughout the year includes, but is not limited to: Open horse shows, team penning, ranch sorting, versatility competitions, jumper shows, dressage shows, 2-phases/3-phases, and clinics.  We have recently begun expanding our horizons even more and have started to dabble in skijoring and hope we will be able to offer mouted shooting to our students soon as well.

We also have some at-home shows and versatility competitions for current HVF students, you can find more information about those here.

We try to keep costs for our students and their families at a minimum.  Prices for regular horse shows are as follows:
  • Trucking: $75
  • Coaching: $50
  • Use of school horse for the day: $5.
** In order to keep these prices down, we reserve the right to have multiple riders on the same horse at any given show, each rider is expected to each pay trucking and coaching, trucking cannot be split on lesson horses. This right is not reserved to privately owned horses**
